Here are the instructions for preparing this classic American drink!
2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Ground black pepper
2 tablespoons of sugar
2 tablespoons of vanilla flavoring
2 cups of whole milk
1 or 2 cups of espresso coffee
Whipped cream for garnish
Heat the pumpkin and spices in a saucepan for a couple of minutes. Stir continuously.
Add Sugar: Add sugar and mix until the mixture looks like a thick syrup.
Heat the milk: Mix the milk and the vanilla extract. Heat gently over medium heat, being careful not to boil.
Blend everything: work the mix of milk and spiced pumpkin with an immersion blender until you obtain a foamy and homogeneous mixture.
Add the coffee: Make the espresso and divide it into two cups adding the frothed milk. top with the whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg.
Since this is a very sweet and spicy drink, we recommend using a coffee that is not too full-bodied: our American coffee or our sweet and aromatic blend.
