Adjust the grind of your beans based on your chosen brewing method. For espresso machines, use a fine, even grind. For moka pots, opt for a coarser grind.

Follow your coffee machine's recommendations for the correct dosage of coffee based on the amount of water used. Generally, for an espresso it is recommended to use about 7-9 grams of coffee per cup.

If you are making espresso, make sure to tamp the ground coffee evenly into the portafilter with the right amount of pressure. Tamp too hard or too lightly can affect the final result.
